Hey where's my iPhone? or something else! like Dogs? poll

From that list, Labs. Chocolate Labradors are especially beautiful and the breed has a fantastic personality. I also really love Weimaraners and English Bulldogs.

I went for other because the greatest dog in the world isn't on the list and that's English Bulldogs!! Great looking dogs, small but so very powerful just absolutely spot. The fact my grandad used to breed them kind of helps too

I had a Britney Spaniel growing up, then a Gordon Setter. Both very different personalities.

WOW!!! No Boxers? People have mentioned English Bulldogs already, so I'll just quickly agree omitting them was a tough oversite..

But hey, it's a poll for fun, and there's too many breeds to list them all, so it's understandable..

My favorite breeds are:
Boxers (we have 3 and would have more if the the TWP rules would permit it)

English Bulldogs

then they should have made five polls :) kind of like a championship

Now that there's an 'other' option, I'll say either a Pug (because they're good natured and gentle) and Dobermans - the latter dog NOT having been docked or cropped. I like Huskies, but they're so danged hard to train.

Here's Mr. Theodore, my Cairn. He's not good for much other than making me smile but for sure he's my little buddy.

Cairns are sweet little dogs from Scotland, but please, give the poor fellow a haircut.

Thanks.

He's due for a haircut and actually we have an appointment at the dog barber for next Wednesday morning. Since he doesn't mind the cold at all we get him groomed once a year (trim the nails ~ every 1 1/2 months or so) around the middle of June so that he's comfortable during the summer but has time to grow his fur out before the weather chills down again.

And wash all that dirt off him!

He had a bath 2 days ago and hasn't been out a whole lot since (rain) so he's actually pretty clean. The brown color around his mouth is natural and won't wash out. It's actually rather nice that he's the color of dirt since that means we only have to wash him when he smells bad. If we had a Westie (were thinking REALLY hard about getting one until we saw Ted) or some other light-colored dog, we'd have to bathe them a lot more often than we have to bathe Ted.
