Just for fun--what's your favorite game that runs natively on Mac? Any age game is acceptable.

I'll start us off with two--a fun old one and a pretty new one:

Super Munchers! (what a brilliant game)

    and

    Civilization IV!
(man, that game has taken up so much of my time)

    What are yours?

An older Mac-only game that I still love is Escape Velocity.

More recent Mac/PC games I love are:
    Anything Blizzard
    Fallout 1 & 2
    Civ IV

    Here are my favorites:

Realmz - Fun RPG, that. Shame the developer never ported it to Mac OS X.
Crunch - odd game where the arrow keys don't move the character directly but control velocity in that direction instead. Also never made Mac OS X native.
    <shamelessplug>
Maze Runner - Java application made by me :D

I can't mention classic Mac games without talking about the groundbreaking experience of Dark Castle, which I still plan to beat one of these days (I just need to fix that old Mac SE of mine first....).

Marathon, however, remains my favorite Mac game of all time.

    Likewise, Marathon.

Alongside F/A-18 Hornet and Close Combat: A Bridge Too Far.

I never played it on a Mac, but I still remain convinced that Deus Ex is one of the finest games ever made for any platform at any time. Wish more games would follow its model, and try to really incorporate some thought-provoking ideas and choices into gameplay. We've seen some attempts with games like KOTOR and Fable (which are both fun), but Deus Ex is one of the few games I've ever played where there's moral ambiguity that is pulled off really solidly.

I also enjoyed all of the old KingsQuest games. Remember those?

Yes! Totally in love with Sierra. They used to own the game industry, but then they lost their way. All those collections got rereleased recently, but the collections were really poor.

Just to share, these are Windows only, but there are newer remakes of those great games:

    http://www.agdinteractive.com/ (King's Quest 1, 2, working on Quest for Glory 2)

    http://www.infamous-adventures.com/ (King's Quest 3, working on Space Quest 2)

The original Deus Ex is without a doubt one of the best single-player FPS games ever made. It's a game I can go back to and play it completely different each time, no other game seems to master this concept right. Many games give you an option to be either stealthy or brute force but they never are quite right or force you to do one or the other. Definitely my all time favorite game though for single player.

My only regret is they never ported Deus Ex 2 to the Mac, it used the UT2003 engine so it shouldn't have been too hard. Damn shame, I still haven't played that one. Heard mixed reviews about it but still would love to give it a try.

I think that there was a Mac version of it, but I played it on DOS, and still do occasionaly play it in an emulator.
