Hard to say... the kiss between Emily Mortimer and Gerard Butler in Dear Frankie was sweet. I have a brain fog and can't think of my precise favourite atm..

I'm not going to nominate the obvious opening sequence of 'Saving Private Ryan', so I'm choosing a few others:

  • The "You make me want to be a better man" scene in 'As Good As It Gets.' As cheesy as a cheese factory, but what a line!
  • The "He'll see the big board!" moment in 'Dr. Strangelove.'
  • The final scene of 'The Apartment', "Shut up and deal."
  • The montage of kisses at the end of 'Cinema Paradiso.'
  • The fight scene with the book in 'The Bourne Ultimatum.'
  • "We're going to need a bigger boat" moment in Jaws.

I could on, but I'll leave it there for now...

The end of Casablanca.

I might add also the "Of all the gin joints in all the world..." That's classic cinema that is.

@BoyBach: That one from Strangelove is delivered perfectly by George C Scott. He had so many lines in that movie: "You just start your countdown and Bucky will be back before you can say 'blast off!'" :D Love it.

AND
•Ferris Bueller's Day Off (the twist and shout part)
•The Shining where he bounces the ball aggressively at the wall; staring down at the model of the maze; and where his wife reads the sheets of paper repeating "All work and no play...")
•Pulp Fiction (the watch scene)
•Minority Report (where the scientist kisses him in her greenhouse - really creepy)
•Pirates of the Caribbean (2- the rolling wheel; 3-where the crab/rocks move the ship)
•Edward Scissorhands (snow at the end)
•Donnie Darko (the scene where the editing matches one location with the other)
•Apollo 13 (where the engineers are told to solve the problem using cardboard and plastic props)
•A Beautiful Mind (where he traces an umbrella in the stars)
•Citizen Kane ("Rosebud" falling from his hands)

Paraphrased:

"I've pulled everything out that car but the rocker panels."

"Come on Irv, what that Hell is that?? That car is dirty!!! I can smell it!!!"

The French Connection.

The scene in The Silence of the Lambs, where Hanibal Lector is harrassing Clarise about the lambs being slaughtered.

@edesignuk- Where did you get picture of my cat (minus the headphones)

Don

The opening of Blade Runner…

Perfect.

Agree, but my most favorite scene is near the end of Blade Runner where Roy Batty dies and has his famous "Tears in the rain" monologue.

I think the the whole movie is one the best movies ever made.
