So I use Speck Presidio Pro/grip and to be completey honest they kept their promise. I literally through my phone around after many years no scratches or damage. It horrifies me to see people with damaged screen phones.

I am just wondering if there is a slimmer option out there or something different especially thay phones have grown in size. The new 12 is all screen and you need to reach far ends of the screen like home button. I can do without the extra bulk. Any suggestions?

I enjoy using the Caudabe Synthesis for my 11pm. It's not as protective as my speck but I feel it'd be fine with a normal drop.

Do you feel less bulk between it and the speck? which speck you have?

I had the same case on my iPhone 7 and it is tremendous. I went to a Speck Presidio card case and it’s far less grippy but I never have to carry a wallet. Last week I sprung for a new SE and bought the card case for a second time. It’s the best case I’ve ever owned but the Grip is a close 2nd.
I traded my 7 in and it was flawless yet I had dropped it a whole bunch of times. I figure the measure of a good case is one that protects and survives. I’ve had a lot of cases that blow up after a few drops. S

I agree with everything. I through my phone around no issues. lately I just have been concerned with bulkiness.

I found an ad for a case supposedly its bare minimum with protection. Have not tested it. I am not a fan with cases with sharp edges as they don't have a comfortable hold, curved is the way to go imo.

I have the diamond case from tortux. I totally love that case.. before that I had the otterbox defender in blue which was also quite nice but a tad too bulky for a everday case

I’ve been using the Otterbox Symmetry and its slim as far as protective cases go and I have no worries if I drop it.

Really enjoying the d-brand grip. Clicks all the boxes for me.

I would also recommend the Caudabe synthesis.

These are my top 2 by far

Do you know if they have started selling the newest revision of the grip for 11pm yet? I don't want to buy one unless it's the newest rev

The rev they made that long reddit post for. The one with microdots on the edge etc like pictured on their page now
I didn’t realize that. I would assume that if it’s on their page, that’s the version that’s going out.

I’d suggest reaching out to them directly to find out.

Benn using the OB symmetry magsafe for a week on my new pro max, and just got the black apple leather.

d-brand grip looks good but I wonder about protection of the device

It feels sturdy in the hand for sure. I wouldn’t go dropping it from over 10 feet, but since I’m 5’11” I should be ok 😉

I had Speck Presidio cases, I literally throw my phone around, survived many drops. When I went to sell my iphone, the guy was impressed how neat and clean my iphone was.

A lot of companies say their cases "protects" but the question is how much. I hate to be biased but I tried the Speck for a long long time. True and tested.

OB Symmetry but I returned it this morning, magnets not as strong as Apples leather, small sag on bottom and not good on the pinky.
