Starbucks? Gotta love burnt coffee. :D

Starbucks is a customer of mine. They're overly aware of the criticisms of "Charbucks" and they find it quite comical.

Their beans are NOT my favorite. But they are NOT burnt. This is their style of roasting and many, many folks (look at the numbers) like the brew.

I usually get a tall cafe' mocha. That's it. Once in awhile I get a tall Americano.

I hate coffee and starbucks prices are sky high. I like the their cream fraps and the pure chocolate drink though, as long as someone else is paying or I have a gift card.

only time I've used Starbucks was in NYC, because it was soooooooooooooo f'in cold.

hot chocolate with that fake looking cream on top, no idea what the exotic Starbucks name is for it though. heh.

The really good little illy coffee shop near my office closed so the closest coffee shop to me is now Starbucks unless I want to drink the awful filter stuff in the office.

So my regular Starbucks order is a grande triple skinny latte (triple since their regular shots of espresso really aren't strong enough)

I'm not a big fan of flavoured coffees or syrups. I don't really like 'sweet' drinks. In the summer though, I will go for a tall espresso frappuccino - I only have a tall one since they only put a single espresso shot into the it so if you go bigger, it doesn't taste of espresso enough.

"Grande Skinny Latte with vanilla shot to take away. No, just the drink thanks."

Off to a fine art. Don't even have to think about it. Just open my mouth and out the words pop.

£2.45 here in the UK. Some would say that's ridiculously expensive, but it's a damn sight cheaper than smoking. And besides, with a climate like this you need to have those small pleasures in the morning. It's no surprise Starbucks comes from Seattle with it's English style weather.

Venti chai latte easy ice (or hot.. if its cold outside) it goes very well with a non-menthol cigarette..
or a venti caramel machiatto.
Damn this stupid diet.. i cant have either one of them.. only the cigarettes

Dun think. :( I went in there looking for a diet coke once when I was in Toronto, and no luck. Walked out with a water, b/c I wasn't in the mood for coffee.
When me and the missus were over in Toronto last month, we had a couple of Americans who came into the Starbucks we were in and were very rude and abusive to the poor girl behind the counter, because they couldn't buy a Diet Coke there. I'm sure you were nothing less than polite though, amateurmacfreak. ;)

Large cap', very boring I know.

I'll sometimes change depending on who's driving the capachino machine as the drink can vary from barrista to barrista.

That said I'm not a coffee snob, I go where I go* 'cause of the staff not the coffee (although it's the best anyway) and I'll more of a stink over the baked goods than coffee.

*EDIT: I'm at least 2½ hours from a Starbucks and wouldn't choose one if were closer anyway.

I love the chocolate stuff - Chantico, I think I spelled it right. Delicious stuff. This thread reminded me that I've not been in a Starbucks since November. :D

It's been a while since I've been to Starbucks - I went about a month, 2 months ago, don't remember what I got. Then, about a month ago, I went to the little coffee house downtown, got a caramel macchiato. It was GREAT! Best part is that they ran out of caramel, so next time I go, they owe me double caramel;).

orange and chocolate? Doesn't sound very appetizing... what's it like?

you've never had one of those chocolate oranges at christmas? you know the one one slam against the table so that it cracks just right?

the coffee itself is actually pretty good ... BUT i was making a pop culture reference to THE GREATEST SATIRE OF ALL TIME --- lol -- ZOOLANDER

I rarely, rarely, deviate from my choice:

irish cream latte.

The last time I did, when the special was "surprise latte" I ended up with a pumpkin/gingerbread latte - safe to say, I'll stick with the irish cream :p

When I do go to Starbucks, which is like twice a year, I don't get coffee. I get that tazo iced tea stuff. Their other stuff, honestly, is crap. I live for Jamba Juice... :p

I get a large Caramel Apple Cider. I don't like the funny size names. I can't remember if the tall is a small or medium, etc. And for the above post, Jamba is home to the Berry Lime Sublime - Best. Smoothie. Ever. - and a lot of my money from when I was in undergrad...at least one every day...

The first Starbucks I ever visited was the Union Square store. When my turn in line came, I ordered a small hot chocolate. The guy taking my order called out "tall hot chocolate". Thinking that a "tall" hot chocolate sounded bigger than the "small" that I'd ordered, I reminded him that I wanted a small. He replied, stone-faced: "Tall is small." :D

Dr. Pepper is my primary caffeine delivery solution, but when I do visit a Starbucks with my wife or friends, I usually get a Caramel Macchiato.

I have never had a Starbucks coffee in my life. I've eaten their overpriced, dry pastries, but that's it.

If I ever catch me talking the "lingo", I'll kick my own ass.

Coffee should come in 3 sizes: small, medium, and large
Coffee should come in 4 flavors: black, cream, sugar
