FCE 4 and OS X 10.5.4 update

i just updated to 10.5.4 and now when i open FCE, it says that "Unable to located external devices: Built in audio"

everything seems to be working fine with my audio play back though. anyones else get this? or is this un-related to the update?
 
Nevermind...... I just trashed my scratch folder and made a new one. everything seems to be working now.
