So I'm going to start using Premiere Pro and like you all know it can edit AVCHD natively BUT I only have a MBP, so it's pretty bad. Is there a way to transcode AVCHD files to something like ProRez like how Final Cut uses "log and transfer"? I really don't mind the transcoding process and I would like to use adobe's software (not voltaic or anything third party). Is this possible?
