FCP (Final Cut Pro) templates?

I have a friend who told me that there are templates available for final cut pro and it had something to do with livetype? Can someone help me out and let me know if this is true? If yes, how do they work?

I'm not sure what you are asking. FCP 4 and 5 come w/ Live Type and, on a separate disc, there are a bunch of pre-made Live Type "animations" (for lack of a better word).

In livetype you go under File-Open Template there are your templates.


Is that what you want?

Yes, thats what I was talking about, but I just thought it was something that was more like an actual layout template.
