FCP Trial to FCP

Hi Guys
Finally pulled the trigger on the paid version of FCP,
Have been using the trial at a learning tool, and have many sound recordings in that trial

How do access footage and audio created in the old trial version?

Isn't everything saved in the Movies folder?

You open the libraries used while you used the trial. As mentioned before, those libraries, if you used them properly, but did not change its storage location, are found on:

Macintosh HD / Users / you / Movies.

They will have an icon like this.

You are right, now have the paid version which is called FCP, not FCPX
When I click on the icon, the prompt is to buy

Ah huh!
Worked it out,
Had to right click on the icon
then click on the new FCP which is then updated
Thank you guys you have always been my life saver........76 now and not as sharp as I used to be!

The Trial version must be treated as a different app, so you're probably changing the Default app buy amending the file icon.
