If you are experiencing problems with that Share to YouTube option, upload a high quality compressed video file using either the "Send To Compressor" feature in FCP X or export a .mov -> Compress it and upload that.

I'm on 10.8 and FCP X 10.0.5

I get the following message on FCPX and on iMovie something about error -49.

I cant send to compressor as i don't have it.

Thanks - Diff youtube account worked - hmm, head scratching continues....

I actually meant a user account on your Mac set via System Preferences. But maybe it is a setting with your YouTube account. Since I didn't set anything in my YouTube settings to connect via FCP X and ScreenFlow to my YouTube account, I don't really know where to look though.

OK - deff something wrong with FCP X.

Same footage will share direct to Youtube from both iMovie and from QuickTime but not from FCP X.

How do I go about reinstalling the app?

I only ever purchased over the cloud via The App Store.....

Thanks
