    Hello MacRumors members!

Since the upgrade to 10.1 and 10.1.1 FCPX renders are very slow! I also upgraded my Mac Pro from a 4 core to an 8 core and added RAM and installed a 4 Drive SSD RAID-0 but it is slower than my old configuration with 10.0.9.

10.0.9 ist using alle the cores but 10.1. and 10.1.1 don't....

Attached is the activity window of a render in process. It takes forever to render something :-(

Has someone experienced something like that? i read in the Apple Forums that some guys are also having speed issues when rendering.

    Best regards,

    David

I also posted this in other forums and there seems to be a consistent link between performance in new libraries vs. performance in updated libraries (from 10.0.9). Tis is constant no matter what Mac you have.

Also deactivating App Nap reduces performance. From what I read Apple seems to be aware of this.
