Hi,

Whilst waiting for new Apple silicon I've updated my old 2012 MacBook Air to FCPX 10.5.
I want to change the timeline clip length and appearance however these options are greyed out. Currently I only see audio waveforms and want to see video. Is there something blatantly obvious that i've overlooked or is this a bug?

That is not the timeline "Clip Appearance Menu" , but the browser "Clip Appearance and Filtering Menu" and since you are in LIST MODE you need to switch to the FILMSTRIP MODE to have those options enabled. To switch to FILMSTRIP click the icon on the left of the "Clip Appearance and Filtering Menu" icon.

Thank you!
I thought I clicked everything, but your suggestion worked. Being self-taught only gets you so far!
