FCPX Render Issues

I'm having issues with rendering in FCPX. For some reason, small portions of my project in the timeline will not render, no matter how many times I request them to. I've already tried deleting all of the project render files, and moving the project and the event to another drive, accomplishing nothing. I do not believe that the source files are corrupt, but I'm not so sure it's an error in FCPX either. PLEASE HELP!!! (see attached photo below; the orange bars indicate the areas of the project that refuse to render)
