You failed to say who the email is from.
Unless it's from the carrier, contains a tracking number you can check on the carriers site, what you received means nothing.

No iPad 3. And yes email from apple clicked track shipment. And it's already in Nashville. I live in Florida. How do I post a screenshot?

No. Nashville is a major FedEx hub. The iPads are coming in large batches and that's likely just an initial message letting you know the shipment headed to Nashville is en route.
Once the shipment gets there, there may be arrival and departure scans, then it'll arrive at your nearest FedEx sorting facility before it's loaded onto the local delivery truck.
I got the same info. I just checked my tracking. Before it wasn't giving any info. Now it is saying:

Those are automated messages. I would bet that there's a hold on them once they're at the depot.
I'm not saying this will happen this time around, but I remember with the iPhone4, a lot of people got them up to a few days early. I remember being SO jealous.

I know I'll get it by the 16th I was only surprised that they quoted a march 12th delivery date. Ive only used ups and I know they're very accurate with their dates
