Totally agree! Speed is a night and day difference and quality is unmatched! Congrats! Plus I sold my 2G on craigslist for just a little less then the cost of my 32GB 3G S.

I was afraid of that happening to me. That's why I sent mine to my office!
I bought it from apple.com on Thursday 6/18. I am now typing this on my new 3GS!!! The landscape typing is so great!! I am immediately faster with this than I was on my bb curve. So smooth.
Edit: faster mainly because it is so much easier to login and navigate these forums with iPhone.

i have to agree! when i saw UPS pull up last friday.... you couldn't have held me back if you were the hulk!!!!!! i dashed out the door and RAN all the way to the truck!

Well, I am at work
So I'm restraining myself which is something I'm rather good at (example: I just now bought my first iPhone, and I'm a MacAddict).Regardless, I do have to say my first phone call to my mom resulted in some fading of voices and slight static. I'm a switching Verizon user so this is something I am not used to.
The GPS is quite a bit more accurate (and faster) than my BB Curve.
The typing in landscape is very natural when using Thumbs. Plenty of room to get both thumbs in there and auto-correct is a lifesaver, but this is nothing new.
Camera is decent and I'll know more when I upload those pics to my iMac, but I am not expecting miracles there.
Compass is neat (at the moment I am facing 30 degrees North)
Tried the Voice Dial feature and I said "Dial xxx-xxx-xxxx" and it dialed it right up no problem. This will require more testing but so far, so good.
Any I missed?
