Fedex shipping: Early or Just On Time?

My shipment notification e-mail notification says:

Shipment Date:
Oct 22, 2008


Delivers by:
Oct 27, 2008


Does Fedex ever deliver early or do they usually just deliver by the latest date? It would drive me nuts to wait through the weekend.

yea they do, they were a day early when they delivered my refurbished 2.5ghz macbook pro. It was suppose to arrive this morning but I got it yesturday morning instead, it was a pleasant surprise. So don't give up hope! 😛

Delivered today one day early. I really didn't expect it, as last night at midnight it was still showing in Alaska. But this morning...WHAM BAM...Indianapolis...Kansas City...On the truck...DELIVERED!!!

As Yogi Berra would say "Waiting was definitely worth the wait". Number one thing I love after the first hour is definitely the glass trackpad. Multi touch is so cool and easy. You will never want to use a mouse again.
