Fedex tracking is horrible.

I just got an update from fedex saying that my iPhone just got an international shipment release in Alaska. I called up fedex and they tell me my phone is in Memphis. Before this my tracking info was "in transit" for the last 2 days. My phone is due for delivery tomorrow and I hope that's true. Does anyone elses July 2nd preorder say the same thing on the fedex tracking site?
I'm hoping it comes tomorrow because Wednesday I will be leaving town for a few days.

Sounds like our phones are on the same shipment. My tracking info is identical to yours.

Its really frustrating. Why does it take 2 days for them to update their info? I usually don't follow my packages this closely but I am excited to get my new phone. Are you on the east coast too? I am in Nyc

they arrived in Alaska on Saturday but didn't clear customs because it was the weekend, they will be delivered tommorrow. Mine shipped on the 24th and showed delivery for the 28th, today, but that changed to the 29th after sitting in China for a couple of days.

Thank you for the info. For some reason mine still says delayed. It's doesn't say it departed like yours. Even ups tracks their packages better. Although they are never on time.

same thing happened to me accept mine still is in AK, but scheduled for tomorrow, but originally it was the 28th.

I also wonder if they didn't hold all of our orders so they could get inventory shipped for the ATT store launch tommorrow, becuase out of the many computers, iphones, ipads, etc... I have ordered from Apple over the years, Fedex has never sat on a package for multiple days like this.

My bumper was supposed to arrive Thursday and came today. The tracking was way off.
