Looking at my HD in OS X 10.6, I see that my Library and Private folders are 12.36GB and 7.23GB, respectively. Is there an app I can use to quickly and easily zap unneeded files in those folders (or others on my drive; those two are the two biggest, after my Users folder, which is 23.66GB)?

    Thanks.

Is CleanMyMac legit BTW, because I've seen it advertised tons on MacRumors.

One app that I would not recommend, based on the number of complaints that have been posted in this forum and elsewhere, is CleanMyMac. As an example: CleanMyMac cleaned too much

I was thinking that. Macrumors should (if they haven't already) pull CleanMyMac from their ad pool.
