The title says it all really. I've currently got a iPad mini 4 and had a iphone 4 and 5 before moving over to the galaxy S5 and later S6 edge and current S7. I've enjoyed the android experience so far but I would like to flick between OS's every now and then just to keep things from getting boring.

I'm currently getting the urge to go back to iOS and in particular a iPhone 7 plus. I know there are pros and cons with each OS/Phone but I'm curious to know how things have changed since I left and the thoughts of anyone else who's done the same move. I have a few questions that I can think of and would be grateful if anyone could help answer them.

1) leaving android would mean leaving the file saving ability on my phone, I.e. being able to save pdf docs from emails directly onto my device. What would be the alternative on iOS?

2) I have a large amount of WhatsApp conversations that I would like to keep if possible. How easily are these transferred over to iOS?

Anyone else able to share their experiences?

whatsapp is easy just backup your messages and as long as you use the same number it will all sync to your next phone

Dropbox and iCloud Drive are what I use as a substitute of a file system.

For PDF, you could save to the Adobe PDF reader app.

PDF? iBooks, you open a PDF with iBooks and then you have it in your books section. PDFs can be erased. iBooks stay in the cloud, when you cancel them.

I don't think that's correct except from iPhone to iPhone or Android to Android. Android to iPhone is more difficult and needs specialist software.

I just bought the 7 plus , coming back after yrs on android and blackberry, and you want to know why? I was using my wife's iPhone and went to print something and it just printed without downloading apps or drivers or wherever else that needs to be done on the other opererating systems lol. Anyway boy this phone is gorgeous and the eco system is the best hands down !!!!! It just feels good.
