After taking delivery of my 14” MiniLED MacBook Pro I decided to upgrade to the 96 Watt fast charger so I can Fast Charge my MacBook Pro, and iPhone 13 Pro Max, and my 11” iPad Pro.

But it takes 3 cables.

USB-C to MagSafe (for fast charging)
USB-C to Lightning (iPhone 13 ProMax)
USB-C to USB-C (iPad Pro 11”)

Is anyone using any other Fast Charger except Apple’s if so which one ?

I use this one:

Of course, I don't have any MagSafe MacBooks and I think my USB-C devices take 65W max (ThinkPad). I also don't need fast charging for my iPhone. Even 12W works well enough.

Most of the time I charge my iPad Pro (2021 12.9”) with the wall charger that came with a 2018 15” MacBook Pro… 87w? Not sure that it’s fast charging I guess ?

I thought it made no difference if you charge with a 20w or a 100w - isnt the iPad/iPhone maximum intake 20w For fast charging?

iPhone 20W, iPad 30W.

Actually, the 12.9” iPad Pro seems able to pull a bit more than 30W. I have the charger plugged in to a TP-Link smart switch with energy monitoring. When the M1 Pro is the only device connected, power consumption can go up to 38W.

can’t you fast charge the 14” using the USB-C to USB-C cable

Several different ones around the house. As well as the 20w USB C apple charger

We have several Anker chargers throughout the house that are USB C (30-60w) that we use for our MacBooks / iPads / iPhones. I like the chargers with 2 USB C out ports so I can have 1 USB C to USB C and 1 USB C to Lightning.

Am using an anker 30w charger for my ipad (which also doubles as my Nintendo switch charger). The usb-A port is there for my micro-USB cable. The 60w Anker charger by the side is for my M1 MBA.

One thing I really like about my iPad Pro 11? I can plug it into my MBP charger and juice it up 10-20% in minutes then use it again. I usually keep it charged 50-80%.
