Two mornings in a row my 9.7 iPP does not seem to be fetching mail every 15 minutes.

When I first check for mail, it says at the bottom, briefly, "Mail last checked yesterday", then it checks for mail.

Is there a setting I am missing. Never had this problem before. Maybe it is checking for mail but just not updating the screen?

i have had this issue numerous times, both on my old ipad2 and new ipad pro. usually, in my case, this issue happens directly after an ios update and usually resolves itself within a few days of continual operation automatically.

This often happens on all of my iOS devices.

It could be an issue with Gmail, in my instance.

Hmmmm. Never seen this before, hope it corrects itself as when at home I may leave my iPhone in the bedroom and depend on iPad in the living room to sound off when I get an email. I do not think I have ever seen it say "Mail last checked yesterday" before.

    Thanks for your reply.

Update: Just looked at my iPhone and it say mail last checked at 5:09 and it is 6:22!

Got to be the last update for it to be happening on my phone, too!

I have this problem guaranteed 4-5 days after syncing my iPhone 6. It started with iOS 9 and it's still going. Really annoying
