Hello Folks,

My wife is getting me a touch tonight on her way home from work now that it has some decent apps. Currently I own an 80GB Classic, and I like it, but with the new apps it just makes the touch that much more sexy.

Mail: Is it possible to be able to have access to multiple mailboxes? For instance, I have my office email, which is used for business of course, and very little personal. I also have my personal email at Yahoo/Gmail (I can use either one) and I am wondering if I can use both, like flip-flop between the two.

Is it even possible to use pop3 mail with the mail app?

Maps: Possible to 'download to device' for offline use if i need directions?

Currently, my local WiFi has a block all unless you are on the whitelist. The whitelist is done by Mac Address, is it easy to find out what my Mac Address is on the touch?

Also, any windows based calendar that will sync with the touch?

You can have multiple e-mail addresses set up with the Mail application on the iPod Touch. It is able to use POP as well as IMAP so you will be able to set up your office e-mail, as well as any personal e-mails.

The maps application does not allow you download a lot of map data and store it for offline use. However, it will store text directions as well as a map overview of a direction lookup for offline use. The map overview will not be street level unless the two addresses are very close.

As for the iPod Touch's MAC address, you can easily look it up under the WiFi settings page for the device.

iTunes does give you options to sync your e-mail; Outlook is one of the programs with which you can sync your iPod Touch.

Thanks a bunch! Appreciate it!
