This phone wows me almost every time i look at it, but the one thing I makes me the happiest is the keyboard. No matter how hard I tried i was making tons of mistakes on the previous phones, specially the 7. I pretty much make no mistakes anymore.

The software is the same. What would be the reason it’s easier for you to type on? I assume you bought an X and not the wider 8 Plus.

The software is the same yea, but looking at my Iphone 7, the keyboard looks to be less cramped on the X

Yeah, I was going to comment in a different thread, but for whatever reason I'm a bit more accurate on the X vs. my 6S+. I have average sized hands (for someone ~6'), it must be something about the character position/distance being just perfect for my thumb reach (when holding the phone with two hands).

Go figure.

It’s actually the other way around for me. I’m making more typos with the X as compared to the 7 Plus.

Same here, even after a few drinks yesterday I was typing perfectly.

iPhone 7
138.3 x 67.1 x 7.1 mm

iPhone X
143.6 x 70.9 x 7.7 mm

Even a difference of nearly 4 mm can help. My Pixel was nearly the same width but the problem was the onscreen buttons below it made it feel more cramped..

It's surprising you are using a 6s+ and now make no mistakes. I practice using SwiftKey with the SE. Once I go back to my bigger displays at 5.3"-5.7", I make lesser mistakes.

If I stay with ONE size too long, it makes my transition to a different size much longer. I like typing on different sized screens.

I don't want to get accustomed to one size. I like to keep myself adaptable.
