Hi all.

Does anyone know if Handbrake installs the video codec FFMpeg (I think it would do). ?

Also, Where in Lion would FFMpeg be installed to in such a case?

I'm fairly sure FFMpeg is inside the Handbrake.app bundle (right click -> Show package contents -> Contents)

What are you trying to do with ffmpeg? If you want QuickTime to play back more formats, try Perian. If you want to play back files but don't want to use QuickTime, try VLC or Mplayer. If you want to use the ffmpeg tool to convert between different formats, you can install ffmpeg using MacPorts or Fink, but HandBreak uses a decent UI for converting files to other formats.
