OC Baby!
I'm not sure if this is what people are referring to when they're saying their Finder keeps crashing.

When I'm in a program (noticing it A LOT in Illustrator CC), when I try to open a file. The Open (Finder) window opens, then I got to select a Folder and then a File and before I can click on the File, the window closes. I have to repeat a few times to actually get the File I'm trying to access.

Is anyone else having this issue - it's driving me bonkers! :(

Having the exact same issue; since upgrading to Maverick (OS X 10.9).
Haven't found a solution yet - will post if I find one, on the same page as you atm.

I'm not currently using google drive...maybe it's a dropbox conflict? My current work around is opening files in Finder, rather than AI. It's a hassle. Hopefully a clean install isn't necessary.
