I store some images on my NAS, and i also have dropbox syncing on NAS

files on synology NAS has 700 permission
files on mac has 644 permission

the problem is that when i copy file from NAS to my mac in MAMP i can't see images or open them because they don't have the correct file permission

how can i fix this?

With the problematic files, when you click on file's "Get info", under "sharing" does it report anything unusual COMPARED to files that DO OPEN?

It seems that file permission is different based on connection protocol
If I use SMB I get previous results if use AFP I get 777 file permission
The problem is that OS X now prefer SMB connection over AFP

Not sure if is possible to force SMB file permission, and if is nas or OS X configuration
