I want to transfer some rather large files (150mb) to a fellow mac user over the internet. Is there a better way than ichat/adium? They are really unstable/slow and I want a better way without setting up an ftp site.

Try this places than http://www.mytempdir.com or rapidshare.de you can post your files there for free or you can pay a small feed, and you can just share it with anybody you want, just send them the link to the file..as easy as that.
