Tapforms is a great alternative. There are versions for iPhone, iPad and the MAC.

Not to dismiss your suggestion, actually I heard for the first time about it and it looks interesting, however, couldn't stop myself pointing out this funny tidbit which is pure comedy gold:

+1 for the Tapforms suggestion. It had a great set of features (including nice import/export) and the developer has been responsive.

Tapforms comes out of the box with a ton of pre-set canned forms but you can also create your own databases by simply importing a CSV file. Saves a ton of work.
