I was struggling copying some photos from an external SSD to my ipad. I forgot I had file browser pro, I fired that up and was able to copy 4000+ photos with no problem. I added my Onedrive business account that works smoothly. So if you struggle with the Files app I’d recommend checking out file browser pro.

exFAT? That's what started that thread. Moving 10's of gigs of media several times weekly and remaining within Apple standard file system formats I've had no issues with Files and corruption. I purchased File Browser Pro. Actually uninstalled it as it just took up space and I preferred the extent Files was built into the system.

It’s a new file system and current disk management in general is not something Apple should be proud about but I suspect Windows support is probably not high on Apple's priority list at the moment.

New? It's been around since 2003, the Mac started supported R/W with it around 2010. Also, one person ran into the same problem with FAT32.

How does either app work with respect to being connected to VPN for corporate infrastructure and can it accept corporate credentials and file shares or does that not work?

Can't say from personal experience, but there's info here for FB Pro -

https://stratospherix.com/products/filebrowserprofessional/

"For corporate environments a VPN is usually available and FileBrowser Professional will seamlessly integrate, including: Cisco AnyConnect, Dell Sonicwall and Junos Pulse and many more."

Thank you!

I think the Go and Pro versions are what I'm after. Long long ago back during iOS 5/6 I think this was as singular product if I recall correctly and worked for on-premises file share access. Since everything is cloud based using Microsoft's cloud license via Azure I think this'll work.

Cheers and much appreciated.

And with deeper questions, contact Stratospherix Support - I've gone to them in the past and they were real responsive.
