files have disappeared after iOS 8.0.2

After updating software iOS 8.0.2 on my iMac all the files in the folders are missing. I have turned off and on again. Any suggestions?

Files in which folders? If you have enabled iCloud drive on iOS, apps on OS X won't be able to see any iCloud files until Yosemite - it warns you about that if you enable it
