Files on computer is gone!!!!!!!!

I have folders on my desktop and 4 of them are completely gone! I swear I didn't delete them I can't use finder and I'm trying to recover my delete files but so far I can't find the folders that are gone WTF IS GOING ON????????😡😡😡😡😡😡😡

Did you have a Time Machine backup? If you're backing up your files, you can find the folder (User->Desktop) within the backup.
