So ive been both a PC and Mac user, however much more mac for the past 5 or 6 years. However, since we have both the firmware and OS images leaked somewhere, wouldnt it be possible to use the safari browser built into the iPhone as a filesystem viewer. Now i know you couldnt do anything but it would be nice just to see. Is this a possibility or am i thinking windows to much?

first off its not going to be much use when you can't yet put files on the iPhone other than those you receive via email or create with iPhone, e.g. Photos.

But stay tuned because updates will be coming that will enable both using documents and a filesysytem that, rumor has it, will integrate the new coverflow file browser from OS X 10.5.

That will be a lot more useful than Safari file browsing I
    or any other hacky workup.

Safari file browsing sounds waaay too much like Windows' "Explorer". Internet Explorer could also be used to access files if you typed the directory. If I'm not mistaken, that opens up a lot of vulnerabilities and can possibly be exploited.

You're best off keeping file system viewers (like Finder) and browsers (like Safari) as separate applications.
