Hey guys, I've had my MBP for a bit less than a year now and have had the dreaded Filevault "Encryption Paused" bug on it since. Unfortunately I've been too busy (and without another computer) to get the time to back it up and reinstall like others who have not had success with the reset pram solution... To be honest, I haven't noticed the "Encryption Paused" bug to affect performance all that much so I actually kind of forgot about it. Anyway, El Capitan dropped recently and I tried updating it only to be blocked by the installer because Filevault is "still running". I guess there's no "safe" way around this? I was wondering if I could bypass the Filevault check and try to install El Capitan anyway... Side note, has anyone found any new resolutions to this stupid Filevault bug?!
