Filter Mails in Mail.app and Gmail

So i am getting lots of emails per day, but most of them are Facebook notifications and Twitter stuff, Is there any way I can Filter those Facebook emails so they show up in a different folder than my Inbox?

Also it would be great to do it directly in Gmail so my iPhone does the same 😀

Mail -> Preferences -> Rules

or in Gmail,

Settings -> Filters -> Create a new filter

I have my Facebook notifications set up to trigger a sound cue in Mail. The notifications are always duplicated on the Facebook site, so that prompts me to open Facebook and see why it wanted my attention.
