Filter rows by color on Excel

    Hi Everyone,

    can anybody suggest me how to filter rows by color in MS Excel 2008

    I just tried it this way,
    I highlighted rows 2,4,6 yellow and then filled rows 1-6 with the numbers 1,2,3,4,5,6.

    Click on Row A, select filter from the data menu.
    When you click the little arrow on A, it then gives you an option "Filter by cell colour".

    Hi Darren,

    I tried the way you ask me to but still its not working i am not getting option "Filter by cell colour"

    When i click on little arrow it just give option sort acceding, sort descending, show all, show top10 and custom filter.
