Filter wifi?

Is there a way to filter out wifi signals on an iphone 4? The wifi at my college dorm is hideously slow, and my phone automatically connect to it every time. Meanwhile other hotspots around my college are fine. I don't want to turn my wifi setting on and off when ever I use my phone in my dorm. Is there way to simply block one wifi hotspot and not the others when they all share the same name.

just forget the network you regularly connect to and add the one you want.
