My usb iPod data cable is sorta dirty. I guess this could be a common problem with having white cables? any suggestions on cleaning? basic detergent on a cloth, or...? gotta have super white apple cables!
I use nail-polish remover, I borrow it from my Mom. ONLY USE IT ON THAT! No connectors, no screens, or anything...unless you want a totally screwed up product!
i spray some window cleaner/surface cleaner on a rag or paper towel and wipe the chords down. as noted leave the connectors alone and safely kept dry.
hrmmm. well i work in a hospital, and we have loads of these little alcohol swab things around the place. i guess I could just use that. trying it now..
i just found some of these in my draw. "screen-clene". I guess it's for erm, cleaning screens? I wonder if it's TFT safe.. the packet says "andistatic wipe for monitor and filter screens" and "wire screene thoroughly with Screen-Clene and dry with Computiss or Safetiss anyway, i cleaned my ipod cable with it and it's now super clean. This stuff doesnt seem to be as strong as a regular alcohol wipe/rub.. and it smells a bit more like a detergent/cleaner than an alcohol based thing.. hrmm. pic of screen-clene, and pic of super clean cable. (sorry about pics, it's dark in this office and my camera phone is bogus in the dark...
bah, while I'm doing mobile pics, here's a pic of my office desk. a tad boring. note the black nano with sennheiser headphones keeps me sane.
hrmm, it's a microsoft mouse. "wheel mouse optical". it's not bad. I didn't really get a choice.. hehe, work equipment.
