Final Cut acting weird.

Hi guys.

I'm not a pro in video editing, just a newbie enthusiast. I've completed several projects in Final Cut Pro, on the same machine I'm working now. It's a 09 Mac Pro, with 32 GB RAM, Octo 2.26.

I never experienced any flaws in the way software worked, but now it's acting weird.

I drag'n'drop audio - and I wait for 5 minutes, because FC freezes. I d'n'd a 720p IMAGE, and it freezes for 3 minutes. I press space just to listen to placed audio, and I have to wait for 2 minutes so it starts playing.

I have no clue what's wrong. Any ideas?

sounds like caching issue.

clean your caches, and make sure that the App rests on the system drive, all temp files and caches should be on another drive.

Thanks. Clearing cache didn't help.
Everything started working better after I deleted older event. Somewhy.
