I am running Final Cut Pro (6.02) on a virtually brand new Mac Pro with Leopard . Everything is fully updated.

Recently, everytime I open FCP by double clicking a project file, it will freeze up and I have to force quit. Additionally, if I open FCP, then open a project, it works until go to another program (even when doing so through expose and/or spaces) at which point it freezes up.

I have verified permissions on both the external drive and the internal drive, as well as running disk utility on both and the problem persists. I am wondering if anyone else has this problem and/or knows how to solve it. Thank you very much.
