Final Cut - exporting widescreen still images

I'm working on an anamorphic 16:9 timeline and trying to export single frames as still images. I've happily done this with 4:3 video many times.

Final Cut (4.5) squeezes the still image to 4:3 and I can't find a way to retain the 16:9 aspect for use in Photoshop etc. I can't believe its not possible!

all your video is recorded on tape as anamorphic 4x3, finalcut just stretches it out when in 16x9 when you view it.
When you take your image into photoshop you need to stretch the image width to 133%
