Resolved Final Cut Express 4.0.1 Update

Hi All,

I have some old Final Cut Express projects that were last saved using the 4.0.1 version. I have the set-up discs for 4.0 but it won't read the files as it says they were created on a newer version. Does anyone know a way of getting hold of the 4.0.1 update?

Use an older Mac. Install FCE then the Mac OS X Software Update tool (10.6 or earlier) will instantly pull the 4.0.1 update.

Yeah. Since of course, everyone has a Snow Leopard compatible machine standing around. 😂👍🏼 Brilliant.
