Can anyone offer any insight into this? I have Final Cut Express HD, and I own a MacBook.... I installed it, and it installed fine, but then says I am missing an "AGP Video Card". Will it not run on my MacBook? I understand video performance may not be great... but come on. I spent $1,400 on this laptop and can't run video editing software?!?! Is there anyway to make this thing work?

It can work w/ a quick adjustment.

1. ctrl click FCP icon
2. select view package contents
3. w/in contents, find and, in text edit, open "info.plist"
4. find AGP and change it to PCI.
5. save the file.

Any idea WHY that fixed it? It's working just fine now.

Your fix worked because the app was looking to make sure an AGP card was present.

If I were you I'd try to get the Universal Binary version of FC Express. Hopefully you could get it for less than $99 that Apple seems to charge (although I think that upgrade is good for FCE 1 and 2 users too). Maybe once 4 comes out, the same $99 will upgrade you. Why go UB? It'll probably if not definitely be faster.
