anyone know how to change the project canvas in FCEHD so that when u capture your footage it will be widescreen? Is there even a way to change the dimensions of a project when creating it?

This is something I've also been wondering! It annoys the hell out of me. Even if I import a smaller video, the black canvas around it still exists in the export file. I have looked all over on how to fix this, but no luck...

I'm not trying to hijack your thread. Just wondering the same thing. 🙂
