Final Cut Express Release Cycle?

I could be getting Final Cut Express this Christmas after some annoying-ness to my parents...

But what is the release cycle like? Are there going to be a new version release after like 1 month I buy it?

who knows.. FCE 4 will probably be coming out soon but nobody knows when.. maybe MWSF 08.

Anyways, the upgrade is only 99 bucks so its not too big of a deal, and FCE 3.5 is more than capable.

Don't go waiting for FCE4 because you have no idea how long it will take.
