I couldn't agree more with nuckinfutz.
Being able to automate tasks in editing would put Final Cut Pro WAY ahead in the editing world. I did this project once where I had to make a slide show of pictures with random dissolves for it. Automation would have cut off about 4 days of work. That might already be automated, but I'm just a high school student and I have been taught to "not find the easy way, but just get it done."😱
I don't know how to use AppleScript, but I think that Final Cut Pro support would be just the escuse for me to learn.🙂
