I am trying to do a ripple edit in FCP6.

I used to work that I'd place the playhead at a particular section in the audio track in the viewer, and drag the in point to the playhead.

I must have accidentally changed a setting.

Now, when I click on the in point to move it towards the playhead, the playhead hops over the in point, and I'm losing my target.

It's like playhead snapping. How do I turn this off?

What really surprised me wasn't the snapping itself.

It was that not the in point was snapping to the playhead.

It was the playhead snapping to the inpoint.

    Which is an aggravating behavior.
