    Hey guys,

I've been hearing about people that get copies of Final Cut from the internet or from other people who have it and then give it to them. How is that possible without a license number?

To use FCS, you need to purchase it. If you do not, you are not allowed to use it. If someone gives their legal copy to you, they also need to provide the activation codes. It is really pretty straightforward.

Which was my point. I'm not about to go around telling people how to break the law, therefore if someone asks I always respond with it isn't possible :).

Well, technically, it's isn't possible to use FCS without a license key, as the OP phrased it. So you were right.

Please do not request piracy information on this forum, MacRumors does not condone the theft of copyright material.

We do like stroking small, furry quadrupeds however.
