I am switching to a mac and was wondering if Final cut pro will let me render two video streams into one side by side video?

Just as simsaladimbamba noted.

Yes.

If you were to elaborate a bit more on what the media was, and what you intend to do with the edit, we can be more specific on guiding you to obtain that goal.

Or, if it was just a simple question about FCP, simsaladimbamba answered that question for you like a boss. :)

I have been playing with final cut pro. I can figure out how to edit multiple videos sources, but how do you do a split screen output? I think i got it.

Like what parc.elohssa said, how do you plan on laying it out?

Do you want both the videos to be smaller and put side by side, or do you want them to be cropped so that they both take up the full frame?
