    Ken Stone

Ken Stone ... google that and FCP
Larry Jordan.... google that and FCP

    That should get you started!

Both are Massive braniacs at FC Studio.... Ive been a fan and want to go to the on hand sessions but scheduling gets in the way.

Check those out. There are other books that I have found but they tend to put me to sleep :)

Good Luck bro you will love FCP, super powerfull. Learn the keyboard shortcuts!

    Search for the iTunes podcasts:

Creative Cow Final Cut Studio Tutorials Video Training
Final Cut Help - Absolute Video Training for Final Cut Studio

..these are all free podcasts and very good. :D

I have found the Apple Training Series books very useful for Apple's Pro applications.

I'm also a subscriber and love their service, but haven't tried any of the Final Cut tutorials they offer.

Nice thing about FCS is there is ample help all over the internet, both free and inexpensive. Great community. You are not alone when you buy. I am biased but check out the Los Angeles Final Cut Pro User Group. (lafcpug)
