So, i just got a Mac Pro-

    specs:
    Quad Core 2.66 Processor
    6 gigs of RAM
    ATI Radeon X1900XT Graphics Card
    OS: Tiger . . .

I will be using Final Cut Studio 2 / After Effects A LOT on the machine.
I have heard some things that FCS-2 runs slower and doesn't perform as well in a general saying in Leopard.

Is this true? Has anyone had any personal experience with this? i would love to find out before i go out and buy the new Leopard OS- or if i should keep Tiger on it.

I have seen no noticable difference in performance on the FCS applications when I switched from Tiger to Leopard. However, Leopard's time machine backup feature has come in handy (read: saved my butt) more than once.
